Heath Windows and Doors
Despite their name, Heath Windows and Doors are based in Tongwynlais and the owner’s family has a long history in the village.
Miall Hardwick started his business after working in the industry for over 10 years. He felt there was a need for a double glazing company that: “cared more about aftercare, service and high quality workmanship than volume”. He employs staff from the village and feels they are very much a local company.
Miall’s family go back generations in Tongwynlais, starting with his great grandfather who lived by the rugby pitches, where his grandfather Miall Davies grew up. Miall lived in South Africa until he was 14 but his family all went to Tongwynlais Primary School. He now lives in the village and his young daughter attends the school so he has strong connections to the community.
They recently carried out some work in the village.
“I had some work done recently by Heath Windows and Doors, involving fitting a new window and replacing glass in another window and door. All building work and refinishing was carried out to a very high standard with excellent workmanship and installation, and I’m very pleased with the results.
