Visit the launch of the Tongwynlais Time Credits project this Saturday and earn credits to spend on activities.
The TON group are holding an event in the village hall to launch the scheme. Find out how this project will help our community, how you can earn time credits and what you can spend them on.
Time Credits are a form of community currency. A person gives an hour of their time to do something to help the community, in return they are given one credit that can then be spent on an hour’s worth of activity. This could be accessing a local leisure centre or theatre, visiting an attraction or attending an event in their own community.
Members of the group will be there to explain how it works and you can find out where you can spend your credits. There will also be refreshments, cakes and lots of activities for kids to do.
The event is from 2:30pm to 4:30pm on Saturday 7th March in the village hall. You can earn your first credit just by attending and earn another one by bringing a cake.
