Castell Coch Choral Society was formed in 1977 by their Musical Director, Linda Morgan. The mixed Choir has around 70 singers from Tongwynlais, North Cardiff and beyond.
In addition to Christmas, Easter and Summer concerts in Tongwynlais, the choir perform several times a year for charity events. Linda explained that each year, the members choose two charities to support and have raised £2,000 this year for Rubicon Dance Hospital Initiative and Pedal Power
The Choir have performed in Prague, France and most recently, Malta. They hope to arrange a trip to Germany next year. Linda is very proud that the choir has continued to grow and that they have raised so much money for charity. Her dream is for them to perform at St David’s Hall.
