Tongwynlais Primary School have been nominated to take part in ASDA Coryton’s “Chosen by you, given by us” scheme.
ASDA’s “Green Room” site explains that: “Every two months, 3 Charities will be chosen to be put on our Community Life Board in the store foyer, and every time a customer shops with us, they will be given a Token to use to vote. The customers then have to decide which of the 3 charities they would like to give their vote to, and place the token in the relevant voting slot. At the end of the 2 month period, the charity with the most tokens will receive a £200 grant, whilst the 2 runners up will also receive a £50 grant each.”
If you shop at ASDA, please remember to ask for the green tokens if you aren’t offered them. Check out staff are always happy to give them out. Please ask friends and neighbours to do the same so we can try to win the money for the school.
