We asked all the Cardiff North candidates to tell us who they are and why they’re standing for election.
Who are you?
I am 24 years old, married and a father to one. I am about to finish a 4 year Italian and Spanish undergraduate degree at Cardiff University. I was born in Cheltenham, raised in Gloucester and moved to Cardiff in 2011 to begin my university degree and have since settled here with my young family. I have done voluntary work for my Church in Italy, studied at university in Spain, worked for a charity in Italy and set up my own social enterprise business.
Why are you standing for election?
I am campaigning to win the constituency of Cardiff North for UKIP because I believe in the importance of families, faith and freedom. I believe that citizens should be free to make the decisions that affect their communities. I believe that UKIP is the only political party in the UK that has created a platform of policies that will give people the tools they need to improve their own local communities. I want to see our libraries stay open, I want to see our greenbelt protected and our transport network transformed.
