Wales Nature Week is a celebration of nature organised by the Wales Biodiversity Partnership. Sean McHugh, Wales Biodiversity Partnership Support Team, Natural Resources Wales said, “Wales Nature Week is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to get involved and make a difference for nature. As we’re in a nature and climate emergency, caring about nature has never been more important. Protecting and enhancing biodiversity will support the ecosystems we all rely on every day for our food, our health and our economy.”
The week runs from Saturday 5th to Sunday 13th July 2025.
The Wales Biodiversity Partnership, “brings together key players from the public, private and voluntary sectors to promote and monitor biodiversity and ecosystem action in Wales.”

Wales Nature week is for everyone in Wales. At its heart, it’s an invitation to people from all walks of life, encouraging them to explore and engage with nature in their local area. We know that contact with nature, through your help, can inspire a lifelong commitment and forge a movement of like-minded people acting for nature across Wales.
There are several local events happening during the week.
I’ve included some other groups and organisations below that you may want to explore and see how you can get involved.
