Tongwynlais.com will be four years old in August and since the beginning we’ve liked the idea of producing a newsletter for people who aren’t online and to reach people who haven’t discovered us. We finally decided the time had come to actually put something into production.
We put the word out that we were looking for local businesses to sponsor the newsletter and very quickly four offers came flooding in. We were also lucky to get a tip from a reader about a print company that were very reasonably priced.
So all we needed to do was design, write and deliver it. There’s a reason we started a website and not a newspaper!
We wanted to produce something that’s worth reading and more than just a copy of the online content. We’ve been collecting old pictures of the village and castle over the years so we decided to feature these unseen pictures in the newsletter before they go online. We hope you find it interesting and we’d love to hear your thoughts.
